Is it possible to develop search engine like google did?

Right, but you need to make whole site into CMS and enter all the content into database, so that system can search it.

Google search engine is a different story, all you need to do is just complete a few settings then you can a fully search function, it pretty nice. But the free version needs to include google ads and premium version collect monthly fees. One time fees is acceptable but monthly is too expensive for small/medium enterprise.

If couch can create something like google search function, it will makes their system perfect for SME.

I guess, you want your content to be added via richtext in cms and not hardcode it manually in html. This way, it seems to be faster and better and solves the question. Is there any downside?
